Cardiac Morphology Series
Malformation Phenotypes

Professor Robert Anderson, renowned as a worldwide expert in the anatomy of congenital heart disease, was for many years at the National Heart and Lung Institute, London. He then moved to the Institute of Child Health and Great Ormond Street Hospital, London where he was Joseph Levy Professor of Paediatric Cardiac Morphology, supported by the British Heart Foundation. Although he retired from this post in 2007, he is still very much an active part of cardiac morphology and its research and progression.
This series of DVDs, based on demonstrations by Professor Anderson, show the essential anatomic features of the normal heart and congenital cardiac malformations. The demonstrations are supplemented by the use of diagrams and cartoons in order to take the viewer from basic principles in the normal heart to the most complex cardiac malformations.

The series is produced with the aid of educational funding from the British Heart Foundation to whom the authors are indebted.

DVD production: Dr. Andrew Cook, Vi Tran, Gemma Price at the Cardiac Unit, Institute of Child Health, London, UK.
