ABOUT US  : The Heart Academy has been developed by Prof Andrew Cook of the Institute of Cardiovascular Science, University College London (UCL)

 – Your Title, Name, Address, Email address, Institution, Position, Country and the Password that you provide on registration

 – Website usage via your browser’s cookies, if enabled

HOW WE USE YOUR PERSONAL DATA : We will only use your personal data to register you for, and allow you access to The Heart Academy as well as to manage your relationship with us

We will only email you with information about our courses and other products and services if you consent to this explicitly on registration

We will used anonymised data to produce site statistics and infographics for site promotion & presentations in funding applications or conferences

We will not share your information with third parties unless you consent to this in advance

WHO WE SHARE YOUR PERSONAL DATA WITH : Your personal data will be collected and processed by restricted members of The Heart Academy team and our web developer

We require all those with access to respect the security of your personal data and to treat it in accordance with the law.

HOW WE STORE AND SECURE YOUR DATA : The Heart Academy stores your data using a strong encrypted passwords on a GDPR compliant web hosting service. Content management and video content are also confirmed, at the time of writing, to be GDPR compliant.

DATA RETENTION : The Heart Academy will keep your data for the purposes of website access until either you request cancellation of your membership, or a period of 18 months  has elapsed without access to the website, whichever is sooner.
